EVP Plenary Meeting 2027

June 11th-13th 2027 in Vienna

"The Training Institute as an Object for Reflection: a challenge to enliven psychoanalytic transmission.”

Now that The Exchange Visit Programme (EVP) has completed two cycles of visits, the Vienna Psychoanalytic Society (which participated in both) is issuing an invitation to members of the other EVP participating societies to come to Vienna in June to exchange training experiences, to get to know each other and to swap ideas. As a general title we have chosen "The Training Institute as an Object for Reflection: a challenge to enliven psychoanalytic transmission.”

Previous plenaries have been via Zoom. This is an opportunity to meet in person. There will be several papers presented from the EVP coordinating group (Bernard Reith, Daniel Barth, Claudia Frank, David Tuckett, Denis Flynn, Elisabeth Skale, Marie-Ange Wagtmann, Michael Diercks and Patrick Miller), small groups and opportunities for anyone coming to submit a paper for discussion.

The program will begin on Friday 5 pm CET, continue on Saturday 9am to 7pm CET and finish on Sunday 9 am to 1 pm CET.

Further details of timings and speakers will be posted on this website early in 2027.
